This photograph full size is simply breath-taking. I love it. It is my current favorite!

There are a ton of these beautiful trees with gorgeous white blossoms around my block. The day was sunny, warm, and wonderful. I took the opportunity to walk down the street and snap some shots through the branches.

The results were beautiful and I couldn't have asked more from the photographs.

Legos! Our first project of the day was to build a bridge to LegoLand to help save the island and rebuild after a terrible storm ravaged the country. The kids were very enthusiastic and had a blast testing everything! While I was very stressed about the whole ordeal, I feel that everything turned out well, the kids learned something, and everyone went home happy.

Fun! Shot with a Canon Rebel XS.

As I tried to take a simple Photobooth picture this day, my computer decided, "Meh. I hate you." and would not cooperate whatsoever. So, I turn to Facebook to try my luck there.

Nope.

So, with the photo on the page, I reluctantly take out my Rebel and shoot this.

PS- My little brother is pretty flippin' awesome.

I had a blast today with the family visiting the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History! They just opened their new facility and it is simply gorgeous! This photo op stood out to me in the Cattleman/Ranching history section of the museum. It's so neat looking at all of the branding irons!

Anyway, I had a ton of photographs to choose from today but I really liked the colors, lighting, and lines in this. OK, enough rambling! Time for bed, and don't forget: spring forward!

I hate driving. Anyone who knows me well can tell you that. I must say, one of the only consolations I have on the lonely Highway 114 is the beautiful sunrises and sunsets I have to keep me company.

This photograph is completely untouched. Not a single bit of editing. Just raw beauty.

Enjoy as I do.

This is me. Being awkward. Because... well, that's what I am. Awkward. Oh yes, AND because I don't really have a photo for today. I'll have some good ones this weekend, though! Going home to see the family is always sure to have photos. I mean, one of my favorite little models is there! (And in case you didn't know, it's my little brother Karson! hehe... He likes me to take pictures for him.)

So, after a ridiculous battle with corrupt files, iPhoto, and gmail, I'm finally posting my photo of the day.

Again, we have Christine Nicole, BUT, in graphite form this time! Tonight, she was the model for Lubbock Figure Drawing and I had so much fun being behind the sketch pad again. I have such a ridiculously hard time drawing from 3 dimensional objects/people, but it was a fun challenge, so I'm OK with it. Haha...

Here's the close-up of my appx. 30 minute sketch of her.
